Does prior use of an Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) effect the response to use of the Odstock Dropped Foot Stimulator in chronic stroke patients?

This study indicated that both patients who had used AFOs prior to FES and those that had not used an AFO before using FES both responded well to FES. The non AFO uses may have shown more long term training effect
