Pilot study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an implanted dropped foot stimulator (IMPULSE)

A report on the pilot study of the STIMuSTEP system performed in Salisbury. The study showed significant increase in walking speed and distance walked in 6 minutes. Additionally the kinamatic parameters of gait were improved. No adverse effects were found. The study was part of the data used to justify the CE mark for the device.
